Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access for a field-based role covering FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, TN, KY, IN, and AL. You will translate health data insights into opportunities to improve patient identification and care coordination, working with EHRs and digital tools.

You will educate customers on HIT resources, support HIT governance, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to advance HIT initiatives while ensuring compliance and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR-related roles (clinical informatics, EHR analyst, or EHR super user).
• Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and health information technology (HIT).
• Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams with hands-on knowledge of EHR products and governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
• Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities to improve patient care and efficiency.
• Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled resources and support evaluation for potential use.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and share insights, risks, and trends with internal partners.
• Serve as HIT SME across Market Access and other GSK units, coordinating customer support and scalable tools.
• Ensure customer ownership of governance decisions while aligning with GSK policies and compliance.
