Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to drive HIT-enabled initiatives across Western NY & PA, OH, MI, and WV. The role partners with health systems and cross-functional teams to align HIT capabilities with customer needs, clinical workflows, and technology environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR-related roles within a patient-care environment.
• Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and health IT including major EHR platforms (Athenahealth, Epic, Oracle Cerner, Meditech, OncoEMR, or iKnowMed).
• Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
• Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities to improve patient identification and care coordination.
• Educate customers on approved HIT resources and support evaluation for potential use.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement with internal partners.
