Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to translate HIT insights into actionable opportunities across Western NY, PA, OH, MI and WV. You will collaborate with health systems and GSK teams to align HIT capabilities with workflows, ensuring compliant, patient-centered outcomes.

Responsibilities include educating customers on EHR-enabled tools, supporting account planning, and guiding governance and data strategies within GSK policies and Legal/Compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
• 2+ years in health informatics or EHR-related roles in a hospital/clinic setting.
• Experience with major EHR platforms (Athenahealth, Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, Meditech, OncoEMR, iKnowMed).
• Customer-facing experience with EHR products, CDS, patient identification, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders to align HIT resources with needs and technology environments.
• Assess workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify compliant opportunities.
• Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled resources and support their evaluation.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement.
• Serve as HIT SME across Market Access and other GSK units.
• Ensure customer ownership of clinical, technical, privacy, security, and governance decisions.
