Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access for field-based coverage across New England and Eastern/Upstate NY. You will partner with health systems to align HIT capabilities with clinical workflows, EHRs, and population health tools, driving adoption and measurable improvements in patient identification and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR-related roles (hospital, practice, or patient-care setting).
• Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and major EHR platforms (e.g., Athenahealth, Epic, Cerner, Meditech).
• Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams with EHR products and governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
• Assess workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities for improved patient identification and care coordination.
• Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled, digital, patient identification, and measurement resources.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement with internal partners.
• Serve as a HIT SME across Market Access and other GSK units, coordinating customer support and scalable tools.
• Ensure customer ownership of governance decisions while adhering to policies and compliance requirements.
