Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to drive HIT-enabled strategies across New England and Upstate NY. You will partner with health systems and internal teams to align HIT capabilities with clinical workflows and governance.

You will educate customers on EHR-enabled and digital tools, advance patient identification, and support scalable health IT initiatives while ensuring compliance with policies and privacy requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or related field.
Minimum 2 years of health informatics or EHR-related experience.
Experience with major EHR platforms (Athenahealth, Epic, Oracle Cerner, Meditech, OncoEMR, iKnowMed).
Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams with knowledge of EHR products and governance.

Responsibilities

Partner with health-system stakeholders and GSK teams to align HIT resources with needs and workflows.
Assess workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities for care delivery improvement.
Educate customers on EHR-enabled resources and support evaluation for potential use.
Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement with internal partners.
Serve as a HIT resource across Market Access and other GSK units, coordinating customer support for scalable tools.
Ensure customer ownership of clinical, technical, implementation, privacy, security, and governance decisions per GSK policies.
