Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to drive HIT initiatives across New England and Eastern/Upstate NY. You will partner with health systems to align HIT capabilities with clinical workflows, technology environments, and governance requirements.

You will educate customers on EHR-enabled resources, analyze workflows and data insights, and contribute to account planning with internal partners to improve patient identification and care coordination.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health informatics or related field.
Minimum 3 years healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR-related roles within a hospital or patient-care environment.
Experience with major EHR platforms such as Athenahealth, Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, Meditech, OncoEMR, or iKnowMed.
Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams, with hands-on knowledge of EHR products and governance.

Responsibilities

Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, data insights and barriers to identify opportunities for improved patient identification and care coordination.
Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled tools and support their evaluation for potential use.
Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement, sharing insights, risks and trends.
Serve as a HIT subject matter resource across Market Access and other GSK units, coordinating customer support and field input on scalable tools.
