Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking an experienced Contract Utility Forester for field work in Indiana. You will identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines and report findings with recommendations to clients.

Responsibilities include planning and directing vegetation clearance activities, coordinating crews, and serving as liaison between clients, line clearance vendors, and customers. A valid driver's license and self-motivation are required.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year forestry or related degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in vegetation management is preferred.
• ISA Arborist certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate vegetation clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate crew access with stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison between clients, crews, and customers.
