Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking energetic foresters to inspect and evaluate vegetation along utility lines and coordinate clearance crews. The role includes client-facing responsibilities, reporting results, and coordinating access with stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have a forestry-related degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently across a defined geographic area in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or related field; or equivalent combination.
• High school diploma with 2 years of Utility Vegetation Management experience acceptable per job ad.
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist/TRAQ/ISA Utility Specialist; GIS experience and tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with actionable recommendations.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of tree clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate crew access with stakeholders and clients.
• Liaise between clients, tree crews, and customer contacts.
