Job summary

Atlas Field Services is seeking experienced Customer Support - Contract Foresters to join our Utility Vegetation Management team. This role focuses on resolving vegetation‑related concerns as the front‑line liaison between utilities, contractors, landowners, and the public.

Responsibilities include handling customer complaints, documenting interactions in Fulcrum, coordinating with crews, and supporting work planning and QC duties as capacity allows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) or related fields
• Active ISA Certified Arborist certification highly desired
• Strongly preferred: TRAQ, ISA Utility Specialist, and BCMA credentials
• Advanced knowledge of tree identification, arboricultural practices, and utility vegetation standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication for conflict resolution and reporting

Responsibilities

• Serve as dedicated point of contact for customer complaints and conflict resolution
• Track and document all customer interactions in the Fulcrum system
• Prioritize incoming complaints and coordinate with contractors to drive issues to closure
• Investigate concerns related to property damage, tree warranty work, and vegetation removals
• Communicate assessment results and maintain positive public relations
• Perform Work Planner duties and assist with documentation and QA audits
• Conduct Quality Control audits of planning and mitigation work
• Inspect trees for hazard potential using TRAQ methodologies
• Collaborate daily with clients, contractors, landowners, stakeholders, and the public
• Support emergency and storm response operations per safety protocols
• Assist in line clearance projects and program improvements
• Promote a strong safety culture in outdoor environments
