Asplundh seeks a Foreperson in Homestead, FL to oversee daily crew operations, coordinate staffing, enforce safety protocols, and mentor field staff. You will troubleshoot site issues, manage training, and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA standards while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires a CDL, the ability to work in a field environment, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to adapt to field requirements and act independently.
• Ability to safely operate an approved company vehicle.
• Capacity to lift and maneuver (up to 50 lbs) and work at heights.

Mansioni

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per company policy and OSHA guidelines and conducts safety training.
• Communicates with property owners/customers regarding access, interruptions, and responsibilities; escalates controversial cases as needed.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains good customer relations through professional conduct and completion of assigned work.
• May investigate incident reports and minor damage claims.
• Keeps accurate records, timesheets, and crew reports.
• Controls crew costs and optimizes use of personnel and equipment.
• Provides reports on orders completed, units of work, crew time, and repairs.
• Furnishes incident and equipment reports; coordinates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
• Sets up barriers and safety measures to protect workers and the public.
• Inspects and arranges repairs for tools, trucks, and equipment.
