Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Foreman/Tank Builder to supervise construction sites nationwide from our diverse projects. The role requires coordinating with customers, vendors, and subcontractors while safeguarding safety, quality, and productivity on site.

You will oversee field operations, guide crew activities across welding, structural erection, and tank work, and support recruitment and equipment management. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing to undergo background checks.
• Willing to undergo motor vehicle records checks.
• Willing to submit to pre-hire, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide site supervision and field leadership on construction projects.
• Serve as point of contact with customers, vendors, and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Understand contract scope and identify field change orders.
• Provide safety leadership and foster a safety culture on the jobsite.
• Ensure quality by avoiding rework and sloppy work.
• Improve field productivity and keep projects on time and budget.
• Balance customer satisfaction with project profitability and manage scope changes.
• Share field knowledge in welding, structural erection, and tank work.
• Assist in recruiting field workers and managing equipment.
