Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Foreman/Tank Builder to lead field teams on tank construction projects across the country. You will supervise on-site crews, coordinate with customers and subcontractors, and uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards.

We value strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with welding experience being a plus. This role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, and compliance with background and drug

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organization.
• Ability to solve problems and improve processes.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Must be at least 18 years old and physically capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• Eligible to work in the United States and pass background checks and drug testing.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; drug and alcohol testing may apply.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide site supervision and on-site senior leadership for PTS construction projects.
• Act as point of contact with customers, vendors and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity on projects.
• Understand contract scope and identify field-initiated scope changes (change orders).
• Lead safety culture and ensure proper training and certifications.
• Provide craft knowledge across welding, structural erection, tank repair, and new tank construction.
• Evaluate field crew and support recruiting efforts; mentor and train staff.
• Ensure complete project paperwork and final QC documentation is handed to Design Group.
