Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Hartford, CT seeks a Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems, and related Detection & Control components with professionalism and minimal supervision.

You will travel up to 90% of the time, adhere to NFPA codes, maintain safety documentation, operate Field Service Lightning, and communicate clearly with customers while ensuring timely project completion.

Qualifications

• 2 Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression.
• 2 years of professional computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and/or repair fire extinguishers and pre-engineered systems.
• Troubleshoot and identify defective components in suppression systems.
• Maintain safety documentation and complete work orders promptly.
• Travel up to 90% and communicate with customers professionally.
