Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Mansfield, MA is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician responsible for installation, inspection, service and repair of fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems, and related Detection & Control equipment. You will work with NFPA codes, use field service tools, document work orders, and travel up to 90% of the time while maintaining safe work practices.

Strong communication and a valid driver's license required; HS diploma and relevant certifications

Qualifications

• 2 Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression.
• 2 years of professional computer skills.
• Must be able to travel 90% of the time.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers and pre-engineered suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot and identify defective components in Detection & Control systems.
• Repair or replace damaged components and document work orders.
• Communicate with customers professionally and follow safety policies.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and participate in safety trainings.
