Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems is seeking a Field Engineer to support the sales team with construction management and after-sales field support. The role involves extensive field work and strong collaboration with engineering and service teams, based at the Dallas sales office with significant travel to sites.

The position emphasizes training under a mentor, hands-on exposure to CaptiveAire products, troubleshooting, and process understanding. FE exam progress and a proactive, go-getter attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• 0-5 yrs experience (entry to mid-level)
• 4 year technical degree in mechanical, electrical, construction or science-oriented curriculum preferred
• Hands-on internship/co-op experience preferred
• HVAC and/or electrical experience strongly preferred
• Multi-tasking, problem solving and strong communication skills a must
• Willingness to travel for training and field assignments

Responsibilities

• In the field and office, support sales team with construction management and after-sales field support
• Travel to job sites within a territory; work with engineering, service, and local sales teams to ensure outcomes
• Troubleshoot field issues and provide immediate solutions
• Review data from installed equipment and use CASLink remote monitoring for product improvements
• Provide reports to Regional Manager and other teams on customer feedback and challenges
