Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems is hiring a Field Engineer to support our sales team with construction management and after-sales field support. The role involves travel to job sites across a territory and will be based in Bala Cynwyd, PA, with a mix of field and office work.

The position includes extensive training under a mentor to develop product knowledge, troubleshooting and engineering processes, while promoting continuous learning and career growth within a leading HVAC company.

Qualifications

• 4-year technical degree in mechanical, electrical, construction or science-oriented curriculum is preferred.
• Hands-on internship/co-op experience is preferred.
• Must enjoy hands-on product exposure.
• FE Exam completion in area of study within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• In-field work and data analysis with remote troubleshooting using building management systems (travel required).
• Troubleshoot issues with existing and newly installed equipment in the field and provide immediate solutions.
• Maintain expert knowledge of CaptiveAire products.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, local sales and customers for best outcomes on installed jobs.
• Participate in construction trade coordination meetings and startups to ensure good outcomes.
• Review data from installed equipment to suggest product improvements via CASLink.
