Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems is seeking a Field Engineer to support the sales team with construction management and after-sales field support. The role requires frequent travel to job sites across a territory and will be based at the Dallas sales office, combining field and office work.

Training will be extensive under a mentor, with time spent learning CaptiveAire products, troubleshooting, and engineering processes.

Qualifications

• 4 year technical degree in mech/electrical/construction or science field.
• Hands-on internship/co-op experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel for training.
• FE exam within 6 months of employment is expected.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• In-field and data analysis support for field and office tasks.
• Troubleshoot and assist with installations and startups.
• Collaborate with engineering, service and sales teams for best outcomes on installed jobs.
• Provide field reports and customer feedback to product teams.
