Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) seeks a FIELD ENGINEER – CORE to support safety, craftsmanship, and lean construction methods on large Industrial & Manufacturing projects. You’ll work embedded with a skilled crew, perform self-perform tasks, and learn company standards across equipment usage and process improvement.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years construction experience, a related bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent; training/apprenticeship considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Participation in federally required training or apprenticeship program preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the above requirements.
• 0–2 years construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in project safety plan and culture.
• Performs self-perform work embedded with a crew of craftsmen.
• Builds relationships with trades people and project team members.
• Learns Lean practices and applies them daily.
• Participates in weekly work plans and site meetings.
