Job summary

RES is seeking a Field Engineer I to conduct precise construction activity tracking while upholding safety and quality standards across utility and renewable energy EPC/BOP projects. The role involves travel to project sites across the country and supporting multiple project sites as needed.

You will work with the EPC and BOP teams, ensuring environmental compliance, maintaining documentation, and assisting with procurement and scheduling to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering or construction management (or equivalent) is preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in BESS, Substation, Transmission, and/or renewable energy EPC contracts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily tracking of time and production quantities.
• Prepare Plan of Day (POD) reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Track progress versus the baseline schedule and update Foreman Handbooks.
• Assist with material receiving, inventory control, and on-site logistics.
• Coordinate with project teams to support planning and task direction.
