Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer I to perform accurate construction activity tracking while upholding safety and quality on EPC/BOP projects. Travel to project sites across the country is required.

The role supports safety, quality, environmental compliance, and planning activities. A good communicator with experience in construction documentation and subcontractor coordination will thrive in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering or construction management (or equivalent) or 2 years relevant work experience, required.
• 1+ year of experience in BESS, Substation, Transmission, and/or renewable energy EPC contract experience, preferred.
• Ability to travel 76-100% of the time domestically.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Construction site safety and OSHA requirements.
• Reading prints and drawings and taking off quantities.
• Interpretation of project contracts, schedules, and budgets.
• Experience with Heavy Job, Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support EPC and BOP project activities with safety, quality, and environmental focus.
• Track field progress and complete POD reports and daily updates.
• Assist in procurement planning and material staging for projects.
• Maintain Foreman Handbooks and support closeout documentation and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors and ensure client expectations are met.
