Job summary

QuidelOrtho is seeking a Field Engineer I to install, operate, and service electromechanical equipment in the Anaheim, CA area. This field-based role includes a company car, gas card, cell phone and laptop, with all vehicle maintenance covered by QuidelOrtho.

You will travel regionally, with up to 75% travel after training, supporting hospital and clinic laboratories. The position requires hands-on technical work, in-person client meetings, and strong teamwork with sales and service colleagues.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 4 years of military or field service experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify electromechanical equipment in the field.
• Determine technical solutions per product and customer specs; coordinate actions.
• Analyze product implementations and suggest improvements per customer needs.
• Provide on-site training and product briefings to customers and vendors.
• Manage territory responsibilities including preventive maintenance and upgrades; support hospital/clinic labs.
