Job summary

QuidelOrtho is seeking a Field Engineer I to service customers across the Omaha, NE region. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electromechanical equipment in hospital and clinic settings, with travel up to 75% after training.

A valid driver's license and a minimum Associate's degree in Electronics or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering are required. You will troubleshoot, train customers, and serve as the on-site representative, handling preventive maintenance and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent 4 years of military or field service experience.
• Minimum 4 years experience installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying electromechanical equipment.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to travel 50-75% to Rochester, NY; post-training up to 75% in territory.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify electromechanical equipment in the field.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and systems issues.
• Provide technical analysis and coordinate product solutions with customers and colleagues.
• Conduct on-site training and product briefings for customers and partners.
• Act as local on-site representative to customer organizations.
• Manage territory preventive maintenance and software/hardware upgrades.
