Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking Field Engineers to support engineers and technicians in the field, perform laboratory testing, and conduct field observations of construction materials. You will ensure accurate data collection and reliable project outcomes while collaborating across teams.

We value individuals pursuing education or careers in Civil or Geological Engineering, with a client-focused, impactful mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or related Engineering field.
• 0-3 years of experience in engineering or science related field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) and ability to achieve professional registration (PE) preferred.
• Internship or previous work experience preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Field and Laboratory Work.
• Prepare reports of field and laboratory work.
• Prepare detailed site visit reports for job file using standard AET forms.
• Communicate with clients to determine their project needs.
