Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking Field Engineers to support engineers and technicians in the field and in the lab. You will perform geotechnical field testing, soil lab testing, and contribute to accurate data collection while collaborating with project teams.

Ideal candidates have a civil/geological engineering background, 0–3 years of relevant experience, and are willing to travel regionally. The role involves field work, site visits, and reporting in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or related Engineering field is required.
• 0–3 years of experience in engineering or science fields preferred.
• EIT and PE registration preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical field testing according to QA procedures.
• Perform soil laboratory tests according to QA procedures.
• Prepare field and laboratory reports for client files.
• Communicate with clients to determine project needs and scope.
• Assist in maintaining and improving the materials testing laboratory.
