Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation seeks a capable Construction Engineer to support field planning, material verification, and quality control on LNG and related energy projects in the US Gulf Coast region. The role emphasizes safety, coordination with subcontractors, and technical inspection to ensure project excellence.

The candidate should bring an engineering degree and several years of field experience, with strong ES&H knowledge and a proven ability to lead teams in demanding construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or international equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years total in construction engineering.
• Experience leading field teams and coordinating with subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of ES&H, safety, and quality control procedures.
• Ability to work in active construction environments and adapt to field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Reviews design documents and field conditions to support concrete construction activities.
• Prepares work packages, construction sketches, field instructions, and technical documentation.
• Assists with planning construction methods, sequencing, and installation activities.
• Coordinates with engineering, construction, quality, and subcontractors to resolve field issues.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and construction practices.
