Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a construction engineer to provide field engineering support on LNG plant projects along the US Gulf Coast. You will assist with work planning, material management, quality control, and turnover activities, ensuring safety and adherence to project requirements.

Ideal candidates have a engineering degree and 2–9 years of relevant experience in heavy industrial construction, with strong coordination skills and knowledge of ES&H practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or international equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in construction of heavy industrial or commercial complexes.

Responsibilities

• Reviews design documents and field conditions to support concrete construction activities.
• Prepares work packages, construction sketches, field instructions, and technical documentation.
• Assists with planning construction methods, sequencing, and installation activities.
• Coordinates with engineering, construction, quality, and subcontractors to resolve field issues.
• Supports system turnover activities, punch-list resolution, and turnover documentation.
