Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation in the US Gulf Coast region seeks an experienced construction engineer to lead field engineering, planning, and turnover activities on LNG plant projects.

You will manage teams, coordinate with engineering and subcontractors, oversee cost and schedule reporting, and ensure safety and quality compliance across multi-discipline work.

Mobility to other units may be required; a strong background in large EPC construction and contract administration is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or science with 13–19 years of relevant experience
Experience supervising subcontractors and managing field engineering teams
Knowledge of project controls, cost/schedule and contract administration
Familiarity with Bechtel ES&H and environmental compliance

Responsibilities

Lead construction engineering organization on site and coordinate with management
Oversee quantity take-off, cost reports, and progress forecasts
Direct design of temporary construction facilities and interfacing with design
Coordinate subcontract activities to ensure materials and quality meet specs
Ensure environmental controls and safety programs are implemented
