Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project Field Engineer to support concrete construction activities on LNG-related projects across the US Gulf Coast. You will assist with work planning, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, and coordination with design, engineering, and subcontractors.

You will be responsible for field inspection knowledge, RFIs, and turnover documentation, and will help ensure work meets project requirements and Bechtel ES&H standards while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and relevant field experience.
• Experience in construction engineering and coordination with multi-discipline teams.
• Familiar with safety, quality, and ES&H requirements on heavy industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Review design documents and field conditions to support concrete construction.
• Prepare work packages, sketches, instructions, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, quality, and subcontractors to resolve field issues.
• Initiate material requisitions and verify quantities for tracking.
• Ensure safety and quality per project ES&H requirements and drawings.
• Support RFIs, field changes, and turnover documentation.
• Promote continuous learning to improve safety, quality, productivity.
