Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Field Engineer in Savannah, GA, to join the Advanced Facilities Group on data center, industrial, and manufacturing projects. You will embed with a crew, perform self-perform tasks, and learn company standards while advancing Lean practices on-site.

The role emphasizes safety, relationship-building with foremen and subcontractors, and growth within a high-performing team across complex builds. Bachelor’s or equivalent experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred for construction leadership roles.
• Experience with safety culture and on-site practices is valued.
• Knowledge of Lean processes and construction techniques is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in project safety plan and culture.
• Learns and participates in safety culture to maintain injury-free environment.
• Works with tools and completes self-perform tasks as part of a crew.
• Gains knowledge of company standards and building methods on-site.
• Builds relationships with trades, foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors.
• Understands company functions and contributes to project success.
• Learns equipment usage and applies Lean practices daily.
• Participates in weekly work plan and site meetings.
• Collaborates with team and communicates effectively.
