Job summary

Homeworks Energy is seeking a Home Energy Specialist to perform Mass Save assessments, model homes, and recommend energy-saving measures. This field-based role involves visiting customer sites, sometimes installing devices, and guiding homeowners through documentation.

The position offers commission-based earnings with an average around $95,000 annually and top earners over $250,000, plus benefits like health and vision insurance, paid training, a 401(k) match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in sales or customer service is desirable.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and Mass Save programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments and model energy use.
• Initiate sales and secure service contracts with customers.
• Educate homeowners on energy efficiency benefits and paperwork.
• Install energy-saving devices during assessments when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell products and services.
