Job summary

Homeworks Energy is seeking a Home Energy Specialist to perform Mass Save energy assessments and model homes for energy efficiency improvements. You will educate homeowners on savings and install/advise on energy-saving devices, including thermostats and LED lighting. This is a full-time field role with paid training.

The position emphasizes sales experience and exceptional customer service while promoting energy efficiency benefits. Valid MA license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Valid MA driver's license and reliable transportation for travel required.
• Previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
• MASS Save program knowledge a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
• Must work independently as the role is primarily field based.

Responsibilities

• Energy Assessment: Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments.
• Utilize energy efficiency software to model homes and generate comprehensive energy savings reports.
• Recommend energy-saving measures such as insulation, LED lighting, and high-efficiency HVAC systems.
