Job summary

QXO is seeking a Director, Field Environmental, Health & Safety to lead the EHS strategy for a major business unit. You will oversee a team of Regional EHS Managers and partner with senior leadership to embed safety into operations, planning, and investments.

You will champion a learning culture focused on risk reduction, reliability, and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and FMCSA requirements across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in safety, environmental science, engineering, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in relevant industries.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-site EHS teams and developing high-performing leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the EHS strategy for the assigned business unit, aligned with enterprise vision.
• Lead regional EHS Managers and partner with senior leaders to embed EHS into operational planning.
• Drive risk reduction and operational excellence across sites, fleets, and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, FMCSA, and other regulations; manage audits and corrective actions.
