QXO is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager – Field Operations to serve as the primary safety partner for field projects across 60–70 sites in the Chicagoland region. The role requires extensive travel, coaching, and auditing to ensure consistent EHS program execution while aligning with business goals.

You will lead safety initiatives, promote a proactive safety culture, and collaborate with operations, risk management, and project teams.

Competenze

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a safety-related field and 3+ years of EHS experience.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926).
• Proven ability to audit, investigate incidents, and lead risk assessments in field settings.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EHS management systems; valid driver's license.

Mansioni

• Lead field EHS programs for multiple sites in the Chicagoland region.
• Travel regularly to assess jobsite conditions, coach leaders, and verify corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations across sites.
• Drive safety culture, perform risk analyses, and support incident investigations.
• Provide training, toolbox talks, and safety engagement activities.
