Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site in Norfolk, VA. You will provide direct desk-side IT support, troubleshoot devices, and manage tickets to meet SLAs.

The role requires US citizenship, an active DoD Secret Clearance, and proficiency with Windows 10 and service-management tools such as Remedy or HP Service Manager. You will be part of the Field Services team ensuring reliable IT operations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 4+ years of prior relevant experience; certifications may substitute.
• US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher.
• Experience in IT Enterprise Operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, version 10.
• Experience with HP Service Manager, Remedy, or similar Service/Help Desk software.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage resolution of customer tickets according to SLRs.
• Ensure proper ticket-handling according to guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues (hardware and software).
• Ensure tasks are completed within the set timeline.
• Troubleshoot and resolve local and networked devices (printers, etc.).
• Assist other technicians in resolving complex issues.
