Istari Digital hires Deployment Strategists who own program outcomes end to end, embedding with government and industry teams to drive critical demonstrations, tests, and deployment events.

You will serve as the Program Manager on major federal programs, coordinating reports, technical interchanges, and reviews. The role emphasizes ownership, judgment, and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.

Qualifications

• A track record of owning an outcome with no formal authority over the people delivering it.
• Insider fluency in the customer domain and understanding of how the world works today.
• Domain: naval engineering and defense supercomputing—high‑fidelity modeling and simulation across security boundaries.
• Technical conversancy to interrogate engineering claims without necessarily building it.

Responsibilities

• Own the outcome of a program end to end: define success, select problems, and set milestones.
• Embed with government and industry customers to understand mission, constraints, and politics.
• Serve as named Program Manager on major federal programs and manage contract commitments.
• Direct a small forward deployed engineering team and protect their time from non‑work tasks.
• Shape growth: option years, follow‑ons, expansions based on delivered outcomes.
• Feed field learnings back into product and engineering to improve the platform.
• Travel to customer sites and test events as needed, typically domestically.
