Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration and coordination at client project sites in the heavy industrial sector.

The role is 100% in the field with travel, coordinating with site leads, overseeing subcontractors, maintaining reports and ensuring adherence to drawings, specs and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site construction lead on field operations, scheduling and reporting.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and drawings conformance.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to construction management.
• Prepare daily and quality inspection reports for review with site leadership.
• Document progress, photos and records per company requirements.
• Assist with monthly progress reports and ensure latest drawings are used.
• Support project manager and oversee key trades as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval.
