Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to support field operations at client project sites. You will assist the site construction lead with scheduling, daily/quality reports, and coordination with subcontractors to meet project goals.

Work is field-based with potential office work as needed; candidates should have relevant experience in construction management/engineering and be prepared to work on heavy industrial projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, conformance to drawings and specifications, and communications with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings and project goals.
• Maintain the established project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site leadership.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label each photograph.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure design revisions are current on site.
• Provide support for contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Communicate project issues clearly with management and clients.
