Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, and quality control on client projects. The role is 100% in the field, traveling to sites as required, with duties including progress reporting, scheduling, and documentation.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the site lead, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience; degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily/quality reports, and conformity to drawings and specifications.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports; capture progress photographs with labels.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design drawings are used.
• Support Project Construction Manager and potentially supervise key trades/subcontractors.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Communicate clearly with management and clients to resolve project issues.
• Maintain on-site records per The Perry Group requirements.
• Follow The Perry Group Quality Policy and related work instructions.
