Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to operate on client project sites and support field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling and quality control with strong attention to safety and documentation.

You will work under general supervision in the field or office, coordinate daily reports, update progress records, and ensure adherence to drawings and specifications while communicating with subs and teams across

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, conformances to drawings and specs, and communication with subcontractors if required.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, and meets quality control measures and the drawings’ intent.
• Ensure all work adheres to the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site leadership as record documents.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label each photograph.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and maintain on-site records per policy.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• May assist the Project Construction Manager and support the project with key trade/subcontractor coordination.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager.
• Provide professional correspondence with project management and clients to resolve issues clearly.
• Maintain on-site records and files per quality policy.
• Understand and follow the Quality Policy and Quality Systems Work Instructions.
• Travel for project locations as required (100%).
