Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an on-site Construction Coordinator to support field operations on a major project site in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves coordinating scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communications to keep the project on track.

You will oversee subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, prepare progress reports, maintain records, and uphold the company's Quality Policy and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling and daily reporting.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and conformance with drawings.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports as official records.
• Submit monthly progress reports and manage project documentation.
• Ensure use of latest design drawings for construction.
• Assist the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Communicate clearly with management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records per document control standards.
• Uphold The Perry Group quality policy and procedures.
