Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a skilled on-site Construction Operations Coordinator for a project in Phoenix, AZ. You will work with the site construction lead to manage scheduling, daily reporting, QA/QC, drawings, and subcontractor communication.

Responsibilities include overseeing subcontractors, maintaining the project schedule, preparing daily and quality inspection reports, updating progress photos, and assisting the Project Construction Manager with monthly progress

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field operations with the site construction lead, including project scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, adherence to drawings and specifications, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure work is safe, meets quality standards, and aligns with project drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all work adheres to the established project schedule; Escalate potential or actual project delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review and approval, which serve as official project records.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label and identify each photograph.
• Assist site construction lead or Project Construction Manager with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure that contractors are using the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• May be responsible for key trade and/or subcontractor in support of overall project.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments for client approval working with Project Manager.
• Provide proper correspondence with project management and clients such that all project issues are handled in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Maintain on-site records and files in accordance with The Perry Group’s document control standards and best practices.
