Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Construction Representative to provide field and office support during construction phases. You will assist the Resident Engineer, maintain project data, and help ensure conformance to plans and specifications.

The role involves coordination of testing, quality control inspections, and progress reporting. The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in construction-related fields and has experience reading plans, performing basic math, and using MS Office.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands plans and specifications.
• Familiar with document control and project records.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office at a basic level.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meeting agendas and minutes; tracks RFIs, submittals, pay estimates.
• Supports field work and ensures conformance to plans and specs.
• Coordinates quality control inspections and material testing.
• Reviews contractor daily reports and tracks project progress.
• Communicates with Resident Engineer to resolve issues.
