Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Oklahoma City is seeking a Construction Representative to provide field and office support during construction phases. You will assist the Resident Engineer, maintain project data, and coordinate testing and quality control inspections to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in construction-related fields and involves reading drawings, tracking RFIs and submittals, and communicating with project teams to resolve

Qualifications

• Associates degree in relevant field and 2 years relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• NICET Level 1 or Construction Manager-in-Training (CMIT) preferred.
• Trained in digital construction management software such as Constructware, Asite or similar.

Responsibilities

• Performs office management engineer work including preparing meeting agendas/minutes and processing RFIs, submittals, pay estimates and other deliverables.
• Assists with construction field work tasks to ensure conformance to plans and specifications.
• Coordinates and schedules quality control inspections.
• Observes on-site material testing and coordinates testing services.
• Performs basic shop drawing review and identifies discrepancies with plans and specs.
• Reads construction drawings and specifications and identifies conflicts.
• Reviews contractor daily reports for accuracy and consistency.
