Job summary

Karius is seeking a Clinical Sales Manager to lead sales in Eastern North Carolina and Southern Virginia. You will build and manage relationships with infectious disease physicians, lab directors, and executives, driving adoption of the next-generation infectious disease diagnostic test.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of sales/business development in Life Sciences/biotech/diagnostics.
• Valid driver's license.
• Track record of introducing transformational products to physicians and hospitals.
• Robust network across hospitals, health systems, labs, and executives.
• Strong vision and ability to grow a regional territory.
• Excellent business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to engage from C-level to physicians and lab directors.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales revenue and test volume in the defined territory by acquiring new hospitals and expanding existing accounts.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to reach territory goals.
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for new infectious-disease diagnostics approaches.
• Establish and scale a world-class commercial organization foundation and culture.
• Manage a regional hospital and health-system territory with multi-account oversight.
• Prioritize and segment accounts to maximize opportunities and growth.
• Present product features and ROI to stakeholders, driving adoption and value realization.
• Partner with Clinical/Medical Affairs to support customer interactions and evidence generation.
• Onboard new accounts with Customer Success and coordinate renewals and contracts.
• Gather market feedback with Sales, Marketing, and Product leadership.
