Job summary

Karius is seeking a Clinical Sales Manager to drive the expansion of our diagnostic metagenomics offering in Eastern North Carolina and Southern Virginia. You will build relationships with infectious disease physicians, hospital leaders, and lab directors, securing contracts and managing renewals while coordinating with Marketing, Product, and Medical Affairs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in life sciences sales, a robust hospital network, and a proven track record of exceeding targets.

Qualifications

• 5 years of sales/business development experience in Life Sciences / Biotech, Medical Device, Diagnostic Equipment, and/or Pharmaceutical industries.
• Robust network of hospital, lab, physician, C-level executives and administrators.
• Proven ability to secure contracts and renewals with healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales revenue and test volume in territory by establishing new business in hospitals and expanding within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to reach territory and company goals.
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for new infectious disease diagnostics.
• Present product features and benefits to stakeholders using consultative sales techniques and ROI justification.
• Secure and manage contracts/agreements to secure long-term partner relationships.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Product leadership to provide market feedback and drive product adoption.
