Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a CEI Inspector for Dublin, GA to perform construction engineering and inspection on roadway and bridge projects.

The incumbent will verify materials, inspect workmanship, maintain project records, and support project engineers throughout construction. The role requires reading construction plans, understanding highway standards, and performing field calculations.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Ability to perform calculations and measurements in the field.
• Experience with roadway, bridge, or heavy civil construction inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and standards.
• Inspect asphalt/concrete materials, pavement placement, compaction, and overall quality.
• Review and interpret plans and contract provisions; prepare reports and maintain records.
• Supervise inspectors and participate in meetings and project closeout activities.
• Assist with construction management duties on resurfacing, safety improvements, and other projects.
