Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a CEI Inspector in Dublin, GA to perform construction engineering and inspection on roadway and bridge projects. You will verify materials, inspect workmanship, maintain project records, and support project engineers throughout the construction process.

The role requires inspecting roadways and bridges, reading plans, and applying GDOT procedures. A valid driver’s license and GDOT-related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 months to 3 years of transportation technician or construction inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting roadways, bridges, or heavy civil projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Knowledge of highway construction materials and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Inspect materials and workmanship for pavement, structural components, and drainage.
• Maintain project documentation and prepare inspection reports.
• Supervise inspectors and assist with project meetings and closeout activities.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
