Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a CEI Inspector in Dublin, GA to perform field inspections for roadway, bridge, and transportation projects. You will verify materials, workmanship, and documentation, and assist with project management tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include inspecting asphalt/concrete, foundations, and traffic control, and coordinating with teams. Requires reading plans, GDOT certifications, and a valid GA drivers license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18–36 months of transportation technician or inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Valid drivers license and ability to operate a vehicle in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction activities for compliance with plans, specs, requirements, and standards.
• Inspect asphalt and concrete materials, pavement placement, compaction, alignment, depth, and overall construction quality.
• Inspect structural components and operations including foundations, excavation, piling, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, culverts, and backfill.
• Monitor and inspect traffic control devices and erosion and sediment control measures.
• Maintain project records, conduct field measurements for pay quantities, and prepare reports.
