DRMP is hiring Transportation Technicians and CEI Inspectors at all levels for NC roadway and bridge projects. Roles involve field inspection, sampling, testing, and documentation with potential lead responsibilities.

Positions emphasize working outdoors, safety compliance, and mentoring others as needed. Training and career development are provided; home office assignments will be discussed during recruiting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 4+ years inspection experience or 2-year degree with 2+ years.
• Candidates evaluated against qualifications for specific position and client assignment.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsabilités

• Inspect construction activities for compliance with documents, plans, standards and specs.
• Perform field tests and collect material samples for lab testing.
• Prepare daily diaries and reports documenting contractor activities and progress.
• Maintain field books, density logs, material reports, quantity records and pay documentation.
• Measure and verify construction dimensions, alignment, elevations, and quantities.
• Perform construction calculations and prepare supporting docs for payments and estimates.
• Enter and maintain project reports using computers/tablets and reporting systems.
• Communicate clearly with project personnel and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Exercise initiative and independent judgment in solving problems.
