Job summary

DRMP is hiring Transportation Technicians and CEI Inspectors to support roadway and bridge projects in North Carolina. Roles vary by level and will involve field inspection, sampling, layout, and documentation across project sites.

Positions emphasize field work, client coordination, and safety compliance, with training and career development opportunities. Home office assignments will be discussed during recruitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 4+ years of inspection experience, 1+ year roadway/bridge experience.
• Associate degree plus 2+ years inspection experience (1+ year roadway).
• Candidate evaluated against specific client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect activities for contract compliance.
• Perform field tests and collect samples.
• Prepare daily diaries and progress reports.
• Maintain field records and pay documentation.
• Measure dimensions and elevations.
• Prepare documents for progress payments.
• Enter and review project data using devices.
• Communicate with project personnel.
• Exercise independent judgment as appropriate.
• Follow safety requirements.
